History of CR 903.12c

Each deck has a legendary card designated as its commander. That card must be either (a) a creature card, (b) a planeswalker card, (c) a Vehicle card, or (d) a Spacecraft card with one or more power/toughness boxes.

A player designates either a legendary planeswalker or a legendary creature as their commander.
